Gates & access control

Gates that swing true for years, not months

Walk gates, double drive gates, estate entries, and full access-control systems — designed and installed by certified technicians.

Gates

The gate is the part that has to work every single day

A fence just stands there. A gate gets opened, slammed, leaned on, and driven through, which is why it is the first thing to fail on a badly built job.

We size gate posts for the swinging load rather than the fence load, brace frames diagonally, and hang everything on hardware rated for the weight. Our team includes a Certified Gate Automation Technician and a Certified Gate Automation Designer, so the automated systems are designed properly rather than bolted on afterwards.

  • Walk gates and double drive gates in every material
  • Custom estate entries in iron and wood
  • Heavy-duty cantilever and swing gates for commercial sites
  • Operators, keypads, intercoms, and loop detectors
  • Certified gate automation design and installation

Questions

Gate questions

Why do gates sag and how do you prevent it?

Sagging is almost always an undersized post or a missing diagonal brace. Gate posts carry a swinging load, not a static one, so we set them deeper, size them up, and brace the frame properly.

Can you automate an existing gate?

Often yes, if the gate and posts are sound enough to take an operator. We will come out and assess whether it is worth automating or whether replacing the gate is the better spend.

What access control options are available?

Keypads, intercoms, card readers, remotes, loop detectors, and safety edges. Our team includes a Certified Gate Automation Technician and a Certified Gate Automation Designer.

How wide should a driveway gate be?

Most residential drives want 10 to 12 feet of clear opening for a single, or 14 to 16 feet split across a double. We measure the approach angle, because a tight turn needs more width than a straight run.
